More than a decade ago, I started doing sessions from my home after finishing my certification. I didn't have a huge audience, a big platform or some brilliant social media strategy. I had work I believed in, and I needed people to know I existed. So I started creating ways to get in front of people.
Over the next 10+ years, I built a successful brick-and-mortar wellness business and created circles, workshops, programs, markets, festivals, fundraisers, collaborations and community experiences that brought people together, built relationships, created clients and generated revenue. One experience created visibility. That visibility created relationships. And those relationships kept opening the door to what came next.
Eventually those doors led to bigger stages, media opportunities, national television, and now hosting my own talk show. I didn't build my business by waiting for an algorithm to find the right people.
